Fourth Annual Lava Hot Springs Folk Festival

The downtown Lava Hot Springs Folk Festival will kick off on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 6:00 pm.
Participating downtown merchants, restaurants and hotels will be hosting folk musicians from throughout the United States, Friday night, April 12, 2019 from 6-9 pm and Saturday, April 13, 2019 from noon to 9 pm. During the scheduled times, there will be multiple venue locations hosting a unique and talented group of folk musicians.
Admission to each venue is free of charge, however raffle tickets for an array of prizes will be sold at each venue and donations will be gladly accepted. All funds raised will be donated to the Lava Hot Springs Elementary School Music Program.
Please make plans to head downtown and enjoy the music of a group of great musicians and their business hosts in support of our local elementary school. Lava’s own Tahra Charmaine Waller, star of the Emmy nominated syndicated PBS children’s television program TAHRA TIME, will be headlining the event with local youth on Saturday at 2 pm.
This year’s musicians feature a lineup of original singer songwriters from around the region and beyond. Including Crazy Love Duo Heather Platts (Twin Falls, ID) and Bruce Michael Miler (Nashville, TN), Jam School Unplugged (Lava Hot Springs, ID), Jason Greene (Soda Springs, ID), Che Zuro (Liberty, UT), Absolute Zero (Pocatello, ID), Greene Beans (Lava Hot Springs, ID), Michael Trew (Seattle, WA), Paul Lee Kupfer (MT), Maiah Wynne (Portland, OR), Andrew Wiscombe (Utah), Chris Pumphrey (Missoula MT), Jill Cohn (Seattle, WA), Andy Banjo, (Hood River, OR) as well as a second performance by Tahra Charmaine Waller (originally from Nashville, TN) featuring original folk music.
