Head to Potlatch to ride the rails and view local history and operating model railroads in the historic Washington, Idaho & Montana Railway Depot. This family-friendly event remains popular, with speeder tickets selling out prior to the rides. Food and refreshments will be available.

Potlatch was built as a company town for workers at the largest pine sawmill in the world. The town and the entire lumber operation, including the 49-mile WI&M and over 100 miles of Potlatch Lumber Company logging spurs, was built in only two years! One of Idaho's largest employers for many decades, the history of this now sleepy town is simply mind-boggling!

So, come boggle your minds and ride the rails in a speeder at the 15th Annual WI&M Depot History Day in Potlatch Idaho on July 13.
